# Nav Chatterji > Nav Chatterji is a designer, investor, and entrepreneur. His work sits at the intersection of design, business strategy, technology, and investing. Nav Chatterji, legal name Navajeet Chatterji, is the founder and partner of Lazy Eight®, a brand strategy and design firm, and the founder and General Partner of KHOOB®, an investment firm. His philosophy is that design teaches us to create value, while investing teaches us to recognize it. Nav grew up between Fort Worth, Texas, and New Delhi, India. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Economics. He began his career as an investment banker on Wall Street before moving into early-stage technology startups, where he helped build multiple startups across the United States and India. He founded Lazy Eight in 2016. Through Lazy Eight, Nav has worked with more than 400 brands across consumer, technology, healthcare, luxury, and enterprise sectors. Collectively, those businesses represent more than US$250 billion in enterprise value. Today, Nav divides his time between Dubai and New Delhi. He works with a limited number of founders building category-defining businesses and invests selectively in them through KHOOB. ## Core belief Design teaches us to create value.
