i was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, before returning to New Delhi for his middle and high school education. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2006 with dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Economics.

After college, Nav began his professional career on Wall Street as an investment banker. Following a decade working across the United States and India at various technology startups, he decided to move back to India in 2013. Shortly thereafter, he founded KHOOB—a vehicle to build and invest in companies that lie at the intersection of design, technology, and India. Notably, he established Lazy Eight, one of India's fastest-growing creative agencies with over 400 clients and a presence in four countries.
